Welcome to Laurie Leiker dot com

Thank you for joining me at Laurie Leiker dot com.  You may have come here because you followed me on another blog.  You may have come here by accident, or just because.

Regardless of the why, I'm very glad you're here.

Over the years, I've managed to create several websites, mostly helping small businesses.  The problem?  It's difficult to manage more than three websites, so I'm going to consolidate several websites into one.

This is going to be a Herculean task, since I've written quite a bit over the years.  Bear with me as I move content, create pages, and generally muck about getting this site up and going.

Here are some of the information I'll be moving here:
  • My writing portfolio, which has resided at www.right-scribe.com ... Because I've been doing so much writing across many websites, I've decided to abandon my right-scribe domain and move everything here.  I'll put a link here once I have everything moved over
  • Grandma Laurie ... I've been writing children's books for several years and have a very active Twitter following.  I haven't, however, been able to keep up with my blog on parenting, and grandparenting.  Again, I'll post a link once I have most of the articles moved over.
  • Just Me ... Espousing ... I've used this blog to vent, to talk about trips I've taken, and generally, just talking about what makes my brain hurt.
  • Small Biz Coaching ... This blog was directed at small and micro business owners, answering questions and posting tips to help make life more manageable.  Once all that is moved over, you'll have a more cohesive, better managed blog.
Grandma Laurie
Moving these four blogs over is going to make it easier for me to manage and keep up with regular postings.  It will also give me somewhere to send people once my podcast starts on April 15, 2019.

I will still maintain my Resources4VAs website and will be spending quite a bit of time building that business.  In fact, Resources 4 VAs has Pinterest boards, a Twitter feed that highlights stories to make working from home better, and even an Etsy store.

So, thank you.  I hope the information and the different sections on this blog will help you run your small and micro business successfully, and add some smiles and laughter to your time spent here.

Laurie
